Trails 2000 Membership Picnic Wednesday

Yep, that means it’s summer. This wednesday night at the Durango Rec center amphitheater, Trails 2000 will hold its annual membership picnic. Zia, Bread, Coke and Carvers will be the feast. The Tour de Ski is a skate ski race to benefit Trails 2000 and the Durango Nordic Ski Club. The event will be held Saturday January 24th at Durango Mountain Resort. The race terrain is pretty darn sweet, so make sure and check it out. For all the information please go to the DWC website.

Local professional cyclist, Miles Venzara is on the January cover of Bicycling Magazine. Looking pretty sharp aboard a fancy Merckx carbon road bike. It is Miles’s first cover shot. He has been a good friend and model for the DEVO racers, showing up to team practices and offering racing advise at local and regional events.
